A very long day is a concept game, realized in two weeks with a team of 7 people. The game features Latoya, an old black woman during the last day of her life. The goal of the game is to make her revive her old memories, by interacting with important objects in her house, such as a picture of herself during her promotion ball. Memory revival throws Latoya in specific mini-games representing an important sequence of her life, and the performance of the player may affect the grandma's life in return. The whole game is more axed on ambience, music and poetry rather than complex gameplay.
During this short project, i worked as a Level designer (designing the rooms of the house, the objects interactions, the minigames) and also as a Programmer (I programmed two of the three mini-games that the game features).
